Overheats and then shuts the second processor core, making the whole computer freeze for long times.

"To be used only in the fluorescent lighting of your cubicle." Is the screen readable under direct sunlight?

Hmm... new MacBook Air firmware update from Apple. They say this should fix the second core getting dropped.

@mandrl the screen is semi-readable. Not nice to read, but usable. Of course, then computer freezes that doesn't comfort much ;-)
Firmware update is in, rebooting...
